Saks are proud to be a Government-recognised training provider and one of England's leading organisations delivering hairdressing, barbering, beauty and management apprenticeships.

Over 17 years of experience has taught us that a salon’s greatest asset will always be its people. So we’ve made it our mission to offer quality apprenticeship training that not only teaches excellent technical skills but prepares learners for a successful career within the industry. We aim for excellence - not exclusivity -  Saks and non-Saks salons of any size, across England can train apprentices through us.

There’s a wide range of intermediate and advanced apprenticeships available with us. All courses are centred around practical work-based learning without day release for time in college. Instead, you will have your own dedicated Saks Educator who will work with you and your apprentice to develop a learning programme tailored to the learner's and your salons individual needs, while providing ongoing face-to-face and online support. This approach has proven to be greatly succesful, as a result Saks Apprenticeships have been awarded the highest grades across the board during Government inspection and granted Beacon Status for excellence in teaching. In 2016, Saks Apprenticeships were also named the UK's number one training provider for employer satisfaction by the Skills Funding Agency, beating over 800 other training providers.

Interested? As an employer all you need to do is commit to dedicating 20% of your apprentices working hours to training, which could include observation, practical training, allowing them to complete theory work in salon etc, and agree to pay the minimum apprentice wage of £3.50 per hour (rising to £3.70 as of April 2018).

Saks Education values equality and diversity and strives to ensure the safety and welfare of all of its learners. Excellence in skills, exceeding employer and learner expectations. ceop image
